Benyatta had her second jumpout for the prep today. Shaun Guymer came down to ride her and he is wearing the Thorotek silks (green with white sleeves) in the video above. We asked Shaun to settle her in the field to give her some guidance because she is racing a bit green and she travelled very well. She was able to pull away in the straight but remained balanced which was great. We will aim to race her in the 1200m Maiden at Canberra on the 14th.

Benyatta had her first jumpout since joining our stable. Her rider is in the pink colours in the video above. She was very good to load in the barriers and she jumped well. She is extremely tractable and travelled nicely. She has only done two trackwork gallops in the lead up to this jumpout so her fitness is still not there and she knocked up a bit the last 100m. She was a bit nervous in the stalls before she went out onto the track so a second jumpout in a fortnight will help with that and top off her fitness before she goes to the races.
