Faroutbruselsprout

Faroutbruselsprout has his first race at Sapphire Coast tomorrow (Race 7 at 4:46pm). He will be ridden by Jack Martin and has barrier 8. He had a good barrier trial and should be able to handle the wet track.

Faroutbruselsprout

Our Dissident two year old returned to the stables this week with his new race name: Faroutbruselsprout.

He looks great after his break in the paddock having filled out and shot up as well. He looks stronger and is more co-ordinated and confident on the training track. He still has a wonderful attitude and we think he will get to the races this prep. He will be cantering for 3 to 4 weeks before he starts pace work. His video update is above.

Really good improvement from Ollie today at his second jumpout (video above). He is putting it together and galloping strong to the line now. He was very well mannered and tractable. He will go for a well earned break now.

Excellent work from Ollie for his first ever jumpout this morning (video above). He was really well behaved in the stalls and in the barriers. He was quicker out of the gates than he has been in his practice runs. He was balanced as he travelled around the turn and he worked to the line nicely. A really good experience for his first go. We plan to give him another jumpout on the 21st if he recovers okay this week.

Ollie, the Dissident colt, has wrapped up his first prep with us and went to the paddock this morning. The video above is him greeting Dragons Breath in the neighbouring paddock.

Ollie did a super job this prep. He got up to some 3/4 pace work on the B grass and has a lovely action at speed. He grew quiet a bit while in work and he is filling out nicely. He has a wonderful attitude and is not colty at all at the moment. He will spell for four weeks and return to the stables mid September.
