Instruments

Instruments

Instruments claimed her maiden victory on Tuesday at Sapphire Coast and she loved her first river recovery session (video above). On their first trip to the river, we make sure they have two experienced friends to go with. Instruments went with Living Doll (who is leading the way) and Georgian Court (who is keeping her company and giving her confidence in her new surroundings). Making the river a relaxing place for the horses is an important part of what makes it a useful training tool.

Instruments

Instruments returns to the races on Thursday at Sapphire Coast (Race 2 at 2:35pm). She has barrier 7 at Pat Scorse is riding. Her final hit out on Tuesday morning is above. She is on the outside of Clergyman who is also racing tomorrow. We are very pleased with how Instruments has trained on from last race and expect to see further improvement tomorrow.

Instruments

Instruments had a jumpout at Moruya this morning to practice her barrier manners before re-trialling (video above). She was okay but needs further work and she will have another jumpout before going to an official barrier trial.

Instruments, Minnie Malachi

Minnie Malachi has been going very well since returning to work. Her attitude has been much better since her little break and we started pace work this week, earlier than expected. The video above is her 3/4 pace with Instruments this morning (Minnie Malachi is on the outside).

We are aiming to jump out both Minnie Malachi & Instruments on the 22nd of August.
