Merdeka is racing at Queanbeyan on Monday (Race 2 at 2:05pm). She steps up to 1600m and Shaun Guymer is riding her again. She looks well suited in this race. Please click above for her video update.

Merdeka is fast becoming a stable favourite with her laid back nature. Her gallop on Saturday was good and she has a beautiful action that gives a great feel when she gets up to full speed. She is nominated for the 1400m maiden at Sapphire Coast on Sunday. Nominations are out tomorrow and fields will be published on Thursday.

Merdeka arrived at the stables last week and she has settled in great. She is a relaxed mare with a lovely forward going action. She has been eating brilliantly and cantering nicely around the track. She will start pace work next week. Click below for her video update:
