Our recent stable addition, Tornac, had his first jumpout at Moruya this morning. He is in the black and white colours in the video above. He was nervous in the gates, which is not unusual at a first jumpout for the prep. He travelled well throughout the run but just came off the bit in the closing stages. He has not done a lot of galloping at trackwork yet so he was just having an easy jumpout this morning. He will have a harder hit out at his second jumpout on the 16th of December before he goes to the races.
I Am Bolt had a good jumpout this morning at Moruya. He is in the pink colours on the outside in the video above. He wanted to get charging but came back to the rider when asked in the middle stages of the run. He was strong in the finish, taking the lead as they crossed the line.
He will have a second jumpout on the 16th of December and is aiming to race at Moruya on Cup Day on the 4th of January.
Hoystryke had a solid jumpout at Moruya this morning. She is in the pink colours on the outside in the video above. She was strong to the line and her fitness and recovery were good. We are much happier with how she is going this time in.
She will aim to have another jumpout on the 16th of December.
Resort has continued to thrive since his return to Moruya and he performed well at the jumpouts this morning. He is in the pink colours in the middle in the video above. He finished off strong, taking the lead on the line. His rider said he wanted to race the other horses and his behaviour was very good.
Rather than do another 800m jumpout, we will aim to race Resort at the Moruya meeting on the 20th. He will not get much out of another jumpout because he is a stayer so starting him first up over 1400m will get us on our way to his preferred distance.
