Pinch Passion

No Emotion, Pinch Passion

No Emotion and Pinch Passion jumped out together at Moruya this morning (video above). No Emotion finished off very well and will be entered to race in the “Country Magic” C3 1200m at Moruya on January 6th.

Pinch Passion knocked up a bit the last 100m but he has not done as much pace work in the lead up and we are happy with how he performed this morning.

Pinch Passion

Pinch Passion had his first gallop this morning. He was blowing quite a bit when he pulled up but he is still building up his fitness as he heads towards a jumpout on Christmas Eve. His condition continues to improve and he is getting more spark about him and he gets fitter.

Pinch Passion

Pinch Passion is building up his fitness and his strength with 3/4 pace work. He is the inside horse in the trackwork video above doing 3/4 pace. He has put on a lot of weight since arriving and his Summer coat is through. He will have a jumpout on the 24th of December.

Pinch Passion

Pinch Passion is back at the stables after a three month spell. He is starting 3/4 pace this coming week. He is building up his fitness and strength on the track and he loves his river days (at the back in the video above).

Pinch Passion

Pinch Passion has recovered well from his race at Nowra on Sunday. He had a frustrating race, getting stuck on the fence and not being able to get rolling early enough. He ran the fastest last 600m of any horse in the race (33.93s) and sprinted brilliantly to finish fourth.

We would like to take him to the Highway Handicap on the 15th of June and we will nominate him for Kembla Grange on the same day as a second option.

Pinch Passion

Pinch Passion has a frustrating race on Tuesday at Kembla Grange, unable to get into clear running early enough to run into contention. He finished off brilliantly when he did get out but it was too late to figure in the placings.

He had an easy wade at the river on Wednesday (video above).

He will be nominated for Canberra on the 24th and Nowra on the 26th and will go to the most suitable race.

Duck Gold, Pinch Passion

Pinch Passion and Duck Gold had a short hit out on Tuesday morning on the B grass, working from the 800m mark (click above for video).

Pinch Passion

Pinch Passion was scratched from Nowra on Sunday due to the Heavy track. He has been nominated to race at Canberra on Friday.

He had his first trip to the river this past week (click above for video) and he was very professional, as usual.

Pinch Passion, Pinch River

Pinch River is ready to start some pace work this week. He had a year off from the track so we have taken it a bit easy in his pre-training but he has been coping very well and it is time to step up to some faster work.

Last week Pinch Passion arrived at the stables from Queensland. He was initially quite tired from his long journey but he has settled in very well and is is lovely to ride. He has been up racing, so he should be ready to have his first start for our stable in only a couple of weeks.
