Rouge Lune is back at the stables after a good break in the paddock. He filled out through is chest while he was spelling and is really growing into his big frame. He has been travelling around the track nicely, working forward in a good frame. He will be cantering for at least three weeks before starting pacework. Please click above for his video update.

Rouge Lune had his first jumpout this morning (his rider is wearing white and black in the video above). He was excellent to load in the barriers and he waited quietly. He hesitated momentarily and just missed the start but he mustered quickly and travelled well on the bridle. He had good balance around the corner and finished off very well in the straight. His rider reported that he is still raw and will be better when he matures a bit more but overall he did everything right and will most likely go to the trials at Moruya on the 22nd.
