Moruya Races

Our stable pony, Depreciation aka Shamus, came through with a 3rd placing at Moruya on Friday in a tough day of racing. Shamus was ridden by new local apprentice, Amy McLucas, who rode him extremely well to finish only half a length off the winner. Our other runner in the race, Georgian Court, finished in 4th position after being posted wide throughout the race.

Malachi Crunch lugged 62kg to be beaten 1.2 lengths and finish 5th over 1010m. He was ridden perfectly by Robbie Brewer but the weight just dampened his sprint in the final 50m.

The final Moruya meeting for the season will be run on the 15th of July and we plan to have a large group of runners.
