Sapphire Double & Quinella

We had a big day at Sapphire Coast on May 3rd with 8 runners.

Living Doll notched up her 5th win taking out the BM58 over 908m with Arky Kajiya on board. Living Doll is a front runner and having drawn the widest barrier, she was given a great ride by Arky to get the victory.

The Class 2 over 1408m saw Chairman’s Choice and No Emotion battle each other up the straight, giving the stable our first quinella. No Emotion was leading the whole way except on the finish line where Chairman’s Choice stuck his nose in front. Both horses have found jockeys that really work well with them. Shaun Guymer put the whip away and rode Chairman’s hands and heels, which really saw him finish off good, and Robbie Brewer has given No Emotion his confidence back and keeps him balanced during his races. The horses went stride for stride, with their legs moving in sync over the final furlong, resulting in some great photos.
