Belle O’ballee was very flat at Wagga and she was very tired the next day so we took her out to the paddock for a break. She walked two steps into the paddock and just started eating grass which is very unusual because they typically run around crazy when they first go into the paddock. It was definitely time for a break and she will come back to the stables in 4 to 6 weeks refreshed. We feel like we know a lot more about how best to train her now we have worked with her for a few months and we are looking forward to starting with her afresh towards the end of April.
