Lincoln 2nd at his stable debut

Lincoln Park made is stable debut at the Moruya meeting on Melbourne Cup Day in the BM50 1200m. He made a storming finishing run to come from near last on the turn to run 2nd under Ruby Haylock. His preferred distance is up over 1400m to 1600m so he will only improve with the run.

Lincoln was purchased for only $2,500 to be used to test some new training methods, especially beach work. He won two races at his previous stable but his form had tapered off so he is a good horse to use the beach work to revive his career as a five year old. His benchmark is low so he will initially focus on the easier Non-TAB and TAB2 meetings and then see if he can will another TAB race in the future.
