Legislation was feeling good in the roll after his canter today (video above). He races at Moruya tomorrow over 1210m in race 6.
Legislation is racing at Moruya on Sunday in Race 6 at 4:05pm (Class 2 over 1435m). Shaun Guymer is riding him and he has drawn barrier 12.
The race is stronger than his last start but he drops in weight. He has been working well since his last race and he likes racing at home.
Legislation ran an excellent race at Moruya. He was given the perfect ride but just met a better horse on the day. The winner has been in really good recent form including a 4th place at Kensington. Legislation pulled up a bit stiff the next morning but he was travelling good at trackwork today and will head to Moruya on the 16th for his next start.

Legislation is backing up to race again at Sapphire Coast this Sunday in the BM58 over 1208m (race 7 at 4:45pm). Kayla Nisbet is going to ride him and with the drop in grade, we expect him to be finishing strong and be a good each way chance.
Unfortunately, Legislation didn’t get to race at Moruya this week but we have him entered to run at Kembla Grange on Saturday (race 5 at 3:04pm). Shaun Guymer is riding him and he has barrier 2. The track is currently Heavy but he has wet track form and should handle the conditions.
We are keeping Legislation fresh by mainly doing 3/4 pace between runs and he is working really strong as he comes into the straight. He is feeling great and he is doing his physio stretches better than ever. He is nominated for Moruya next Monday.
The video below is him at the river on Saturday (he is furthest from the camera). He will have a sprint up on Friday.
Legislation has been working well since his short break in the paddock and has been keen in his pacework. He is entered to race at Moruya on Friday.
He is on the inside in the video below from this morning’s gallop:
Legislation is glad to be having a rest in the paddock. He was quite stiff after such a long journey to Bathurst so being free to roam around the paddock and stretch down to eat grass all day will be the best thing for him.
Legislation is racing at Moruya on Thursday in the Class 1 1425m at 1:45pm.
He will be ridden by Robbie Brewer from barrier 3. He has been working very well since his last race and he was extremely pumped after his trip to the river this morning (video above).
He is very well place in this field and we expect him to be a winning chance.

Legislation has pulled up okay from his race on Sunday. He had quite a bad black eye on Monday morning which may explain why he stopped on his run when it got tight on the fence in the closing stages. Click above for video update.
Legislation has recovered well from his race on Thursday. He went for a canter on Saturday morning and he is moving good. He will be nominated for Sapphire Coast on the 27th and Nowra on the 29th of March for his next race start.
Legislation had a good hit out at the jumpouts on Friday morning at Moruya. He loomed up on the other horses while under a tight hold and finished off great.
We have nominated him for the Class 2 at Goulburn over 1000m on Thursday next week (12th of March).
The physio work he has been doing has really been helping him and he is moving much better the past couple of weeks.
The video of his jumpout, including the onboard view and the jockey’s comments, is above.
Legislation is coming along great as he works towards a jumpout on the 5th of March. He had a visit from the physio last week and he was moving much better in his gallop on Tuesday morning (video above).
Legislation is coming along good and is ready to start some 1/2 pace next week. He is a lovely horse who is very easy to work with and should be able to work up through his pace work and build his fitness quickly.
Legislation had his first trip to the river this morning (following in the video above). He walked straight into the water and was very professional. The river is a great tool for the horses’ recovery after gallops and racing and to give them a break from trackwork.
Legislation has completed a week of cantering since returning from the paddock. He did receive a kick to his front leg from one of our other horses during the bushfire evacuation but it is healing well and he is sound. He will spend the next few weeks building up his fitness before he starts pace work. The video above is from this morning before he headed out to the track.
