Horse Updates

Minnie Malachi

Minnie Malachi only has one week of spelling left until she returns to the stables. She is moving really well now (click above for video) and she looks well rested.

Pauper

Pauper has come through his second jumpout very well. He was a bit flat after the first jumpout but this time he is fresh and ready to go racing.

He will be nominated for the 1010m Maiden at Moruya on the 9th of April. Brock Ryan has been booked to ride which is good since he has a feel for him now after riding him in the jumpout.

Pinch Passion

Pinch Passion was scratched from Nowra on Sunday due to the Heavy track. He has been nominated to race at Canberra on Friday.

He had his first trip to the river this past week (click above for video) and he was very professional, as usual.

Pinch River

Pinch River has come through his jumpout very well. It was his first time out of the gates in over a year so we expected him to be a bit muscle sore but he has been good as gold and is right to push on to a barrier trial this next week.

Pulla Swifty

Pulla Swifty is up galloping now at trackwork and is coming along well. We are aiming to take her straight to the races with her first start being the 1010m Maiden at Moruya on the 9th of April.

She has been working with a mate most days this prep which shows a big improvement in her behaviour and should allow us to try and settle her a bit better in her races.

Resort

Resort is back at the stables after a quick 10 day freshen up in the paddock. He did some 3/4 pace on Saturday (click above for video) and he was very strong.

He is aiming to race at Wagga on the 14th of April over 1800m.

Sarzana

Sarzana had an uncharacteristic poor performance at Sapphire Coast on Friday and will now go out for a spell. She had a great prep, scoring a win, two seconds and a third and picking up a BOBS Bonus with her Maiden victory.

She will spend a month in the paddock before returning to training.

Pinch River

Jumpouts 26/03/19

Pinch River had his first jumpout in over a year this morning at Moruya (video above – turn on sound for jockey, Brock Ryan’s, comments).

He was hard held and worked home well. He will aim to trial on the 9th of April.

Pauper

Jumpouts 26/03/19

Pauper had his second jumpout at Moruya this morning (video above – turn on sound for jockey, Brock Ryan’s, comments).

He wore the blinkers and a tongue tie and his focus was noticeably improved from last fortnight.

He is ready to go racing and will be nominated for Moruya on the 9th of April.

Millijule

Jumpouts 26/03/19

Millijule had a very pleasing jumpout at Moruya this morning (video above). She jumped with the pack and worked home very well. She is ready to go to the races at Moruya on the 9th of April.

Duck Gold

Jumpouts 26/03/19

Duck Gold had her second jumpout for the prep this morning at Moruya. She loaded much faster than previous attempts and was able to get amongst the other horses for the first time.

She finished off very well and is now ready to trial to be passed to start racing. Assuming she recovers well from her jumpout over the next few days, she will trial at Moruya on the 9th of April.
