Resort

Resort has come through his race on Monday very well. It has been a hot week here in Moruya and the horses have been enjoying a roll when they come in from their work sweating and itchy (video above).

Resort had an easy week to recover from his race, doing slow cantering and taking a trip to the river.

Resort is aiming to race again at Sapphire Coast on the 3rd of February.

Resort had a good gallop with Airfree on Tuesday morning (video above). He worked into the bit the whole way and was strong to the line. They worked home in:

11.77, 11.41

Resort is entered to race at Moruya on Monday and will appreciate the step up in distance.

He will sprint up on Friday morning for his final hit out.

Resort has pulled up great after his 3rd place run on Monday. He can be seen storming home down the outside in the Bradley Photographers image above.

We will aim to race him again at Moruya on Monday the 21st of January in the second heat of the Stayers’ Series. We will also nominate for the Narooma Cup on the same day in case it turns out to be a better option.

Resort worked very well today in his last sprint up before Moruya races (video above). He is dropping back in distance so we have been freshening him up and sharpening up his work. He galloped with Airfree and they ran up the last two furlongs in:

12.43, 11.43

He has started trail riding on the bush track once a week and just like most of our horses, he has quickly become obsessed with it and wants to do it every day now instead of trackwork. He led the way on a trail ride with Sarzana on Wednesday (video below).
