We know owners prefer to be cheering their horse on at the track than just receiving a monthly training bill for a horse that never races so we operate a stable largely comprised of tried horses. With a small team in training, we can focus on each horse individually, which makes it easier to keep our horses sound and racing. Our aim is for our owners to get to know their horses like we do, with regularly email updates, photos and videos.

Every horse lives in a yard with shelter, room to move around and access to fresh air and sunshine. The horses can see and touch their neighbours and enjoy the benefit of the extra space and social interaction.

The training facilities at Moruya are excellent with the sand based tracks barely affected by very wet or very dry weather. There is a sand track for slow work and a B grass for fast work mornings. Access to the course proper for fast work is also frequently available and new practice barriers have been installed.

Variation is easily incorporated into the training program with access to a bush trail, the river and the beach within easy riding distance. Including activities such as these is excellent for conditioning, recovery and for keeping the horses happy and engaged. The relaxed atmosphere and peaceful surroundings also allow for longer racing preparations.
