Airfree returns to the Moruya Cup on Monday to defend her title (Race 7 at 4:40pm). She had her final gallop on Thursday morning (video above). She has been steadily improving with each start this prep and she is currently the best she has been all prep in her work at home. Amy McLucas is riding her from barrier 8 and with Amy’s claim, she will only carry 53kg.

Airfree will tackle Monday’s Cup with her usual racing pattern by settling at the rear of the field and making a finishing sprint down the outside of the field in the straight. We had rain at Moruya during the week and are expecting more before the races which will suit Airfree.
