Jumpouts 12/03/19

Pauper had his first jumpout for the prep at Moruya today (click above for video). He was good to load and jumped with the other runners. We asked his rider to give him an easy jumpout so she didn’t hunt him up too hard and he just worked to the line steady. He will improve with the blinkers and a tongue tie when he has a second jumpout in a fortnight.

We are then planning on starting him at the races at Moruya on the 9th of April.

Duck Gold

Jumpouts 12/03/19

Duck Gold had a jumpout at Moruya this morning (click above for video). She was hesitant to load into the gates, as usual, but was good waiting to jump. She jumped very quickly and waited for another runner so they could work around together.

She will have anther jumpout in a fortnight, to try to learn to load quicker and then off to the trials to be cleared to race.

Resort has recovered from his Rosehill win brilliantly. He did some 3/4 pace this morning and should be ready to race again at Kembla Grange on the 15th. He never missed a grain of feed and he was very happy to get back to the river this week.

Pulla Swifty

Pulla Swifty started pace work this week. She has been working really well with a mate each day and is controllable and settled. She went for a trail ride on Wednesday and she is also becoming a lot more clam on the bush track.

Pinch River

Pinch River has started pace work and is building up his fitness. He is very strong and travels like a fast horse in his work and we are looking forward to getting him to the races.

Lincoln Cash Man

Lincoln Cash Man is entered to race at Sapphire Coast on Friday. We were pleased with how he finished off his jumpout last week and we are looking forward to seeing an improved performance at the races.

Millijule’s chest is now good and she is moving well. She has started pace work and is getting fitter quickly. We are aiming on racing her at Moruya in April.

Airfree has come through her trip to Randwick on the weekend excellently. She is fresh as ever and full of beans. She will have a gallop on Saturday and we are planning on racing again at Kembla Grange on the 15th.

Jeddah Aheadah

Jeddah Aheadah had her first gallop on Tuesday morning and she travelled beautifully. She is naturally very competitive and pinned her ears back wanting to race her partner.

She is ready to have a jumpout on Tuesday next week.

Pauper had his first gallop for the prep on Tuesday morning and he went great. He was much more focused travelling at speed than he is when he is going slow. He ran very good times without much exertion and was hardly blowing when he pulled up. He will have a jumpout on Tuesday morning next week.

Joan Constance

Joan Constance has come through her jumpout very well and is ready to go at Sapphire Coast on Friday. She had a sprint up on Tuesday morning and was very strong working up the straight.

Duck Gold

Duck Gold is coming along great and is ready to have a jumpout next Tuesday at Moruya. She is really switched on this prep and is galloping well.

Molosso Mimosso

Molosso Mimosso will have her debut race start at Sapphire Coast on Friday. She has done five jumpouts and an official barrier trial this prep so we have entered her in the maiden over 1400m. This is a longer race than we would typically begin a first starter in but she has done a lot of groundwork with all those jumpouts. She also looks like she will go better over a longer race distance as she lacks the sharp zip needed to sprint.

Her gallop on Tuesday morning demonstrated her likely racing style when her partner got the jump on her out of the turn but she reeled her mate in down the length of the straight.
